Republican: The democratic mayor of NYC wants to tax white neighborhoods more.

Me: He's not the mayor. He's a mayoral candidate. 

Republican: Yeah. But he says white people should pay more taxes. 

Me: He wants to tax richer, whiter neightborhoods. He says the wealthy residents of Manhattan pay disproptionately lower taxes compared to the poorer people in the outer boroughs. 

Republican: Yeah. He wants to tax white people more.
